What to Expect

When you notify your insurer, you will receive a telephone call from one of our staff to take details of the damage and arrange a visit from one of our highly skilled field staff. The person visiting you will have many years of experience and will usually be either a Chartered Engineer or Surveyor.

At the time of the visit you will receive a full explanation of the cause of damage and the next steps. If it is though necessary, we will arrange for further investigations. These might include digging holes, testing soils and/or testing drains. We may appoint an arborist to comment on trees in some cases, or arrange for monitoring.

Unfortunately the nature of subsidence means that it can take a while to resolve but you will be kept advised of developments and please be assured we will seek to resolve the claim as quickly as possible.
